Out of his self-named Amsterdam studio, Dutch industrial designer Wanders makes innovative use of technology and materials to create poetic, outstanding pieces in a way that only he can. One such piece is the Venus Planter Ø62cm Self-Watering. Its curves and texture add poetry and earthy glamour to any space. The quality of the planters is guaranteed by a manufacturing technique known as rotomoulding. The planters are made of polyethylene resin and they come with a matte or lacquered finish. There is also a choice of those that have internal LED lighting.

LED planters look spectacular in front of doors and pools or other bodies of water where the light plays off against the surface of the water. The planters are self-watering thanks to a water reservoir and wicking system that puts the soil in contact with water. This is done through capillary action or wicking where the roots keep absorbing water and the soil keeps wicking up more.

The Venus Planter Ø62cm Self-Watering has a diameter of 62cm and a height of 60cm. It comes in different neutral, pastel and bright colours that can work with any existing decor.
