This elegant and versatile Beat Wall Black Wall Lamp was created by designer Tom Dixon for his British label Tom Dixon.
The label is a UK-based brand which specialises in the design and manufacture of modern lighting, furniture and home accessories. Its eponymous designer came to fame in the 1980s with a spate of innovative designs. These include the futuristic S-Chair he designed for the leading Italian firm Cappellini (which is on display in the New York Museum of Modern Art), the Mirror Ball and the now legendary Pylon Chair. He formed his company in Portobello, London in 2002, and it now does business in 63 countries around the world.
Crafted from cast iron, spun brass and copper, the Beat Wall Black Wall lamp draws inspiration from traditional Indian water vessels. The wall bracket holder has been designed to allow swivelling of the lamp so that it can effectively illuminate desired areas. With a height of 28.5cm and depth of 22.5cm, the lamp also features a dimmer to allow precise brightness control. Its rich sense of style and versatility makes the Beat Wall Black Wall lamp a perfect task lighting solution for any home or business setting.
