Tom Dixon is one of the most prominent designers of Great Britain, who founded his own label “Tom Dixon. The Company” in the year 2002. To this day he successfully designs and distributes designer furniture and lighting under his own name.

Born in 1959 in Sfax, Tunisia, Tom Dixon grew up in London as son of a French-Latvian mother and a British father. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art and began working as a designer in the early 1980s. He welded furniture and objects as a “performance artist” on the stage of London's night club Titanic and developed his own interior design projects from 1983. Tom Dixon opened the Dixon PID factory in 1987, which later became famous by the name Space, and in 1994 the company Eurolounge for the production of special plastic products.

After working as art director for Habitat and Artek he founded the label “Tom Dixon. The Company”. With this name he has been designing his own furniture and lighting with memorable designs: The Mirror Ball collection adapts to every interior and with the Mirror Ball Pendant, the Mirror Ball Floor, the Mirror Ball Stand, and the Mirror Ball Range lamps offers the perfect illumination for every taste and need.
