Product description

The S 35 LH Footrest Leather was designed by Marcel Breuer for the brand Thonet.

Breuer was a Hungarian designer who, after graduating from the famous Bauhaus school, worked on major architectural and product design commissions, conceiving totally new applications of technology to redefine and refresh tired forms. That restless spirit recommended Breuer to Thonet - a German-Austrian label which blends a love of traditional style with an absolute commitment to pushing forward design and production techniques.

The S 35 LH Footrest Leather is classic Bahaus - sleek, minimalist, uncluttered, and superbly functional. It features a U-shaped steel tube frame supporting a rectangular leather surface. Measuring 65 x 37 x 66 cm, it can be used with other chairs from the same brand, or mixed and matched with almost any armchair. Thanks to the lightness of the steel tube frame, moving the S 35 LH Footrest Leather across carpets or wooden flooring is no problem. A timeless example of 20th century design, it will provide welcome rest for tired feet, elevating interiors in the process. Employing a perfectly chosen mixture of black leather and gleaming steel tubing, this footrest will suit almost all domestic spaces.
