The S 32 SPV Cantilever Chair Upholstered has been created by Marcel Breuer for the brand Thonet. Breuer was one of the key participants in the Bauhaus movement of the 1920s, and the S 32 chair is one of his most famous creations. Featuring what was a revolutionary steel-based cantilever design, the S 32 continues to amaze with its pure design and sheer comfort.
The S 32 SPV Cantilever Chair Upholstered has a C-shaped base made from a single length of steel tubing. Above the base, it features a padded seat and a separate back piece with a mesh surface. The result is a chair that incorporates space between the different elements, while retaining a strong, clear profile.
The moulded plywood seat of the S 32 SPV Cantilever Chair Upholstered has been upholstered in black Gabriel Step fabric, while cane has been used for the back mesh. The chair stands 82cm high, with a depth of 60cm and a width of 46cm, while the seat is positioned 46cm above the floor. This should be ideal for use with most desks, making it a great option for professionals. Plastic gliders are not included, but can be added to the base to make moving the chair easier.
