The Porcelain II LED E27 GLOBE FILAMENT 360° 6W => 45W has been created by Tala Studio for the brand Tala. This unique brand with a presence in Europe, the UK and the US was started by a group of friends in Edinburgh. The goal was to mitigate climate change through design. It was also to turn something as common as light into a design object. The first objective was achieved as the designers explored the relationship between sustainability and lighting technology. Research led to the unveiling of illuminants that use 90% less energy than conventional incandescent ones.

The Porcelain II LED E27 GLOBE FILAMENT 360° 6W => 45W keeps going for 10 to 15 years before it needs to be replaced. The second objective was achieved by the functional yet decorative look of this bulb that can be used with accompanying lighting fixtures in homes, offices, shops, cafes, hotels and other commercial spaces. Made of porcelain, glass and brass, this 12 x 8 cm Porcelain II LED E27 GLOBE FILAMENT 360° 6W => 45W with a vintage-style antique brass finish can be used for wall and table lights as well as chandeliers. Through the brand's 'Ten Trees' programme, 10 trees are planted for every 200 units sold.
