The Liége Pouf has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand NORR 11. Its design and name are inspired by the cork that is found on champagne bottles. It has a shape that replicates it.
The Liége Pouf has a round top that sits on a rounded smaller base. Its inner shell is made of plywood for strength and stability. It has a generous padding of foam that gives it shape and makes its surface firm yet soft and comfortable. The inner frame and foam are concealed underneath the upholstery. A high-quality bouclé fabric from Barnum has been used for this. It is soft, and bulky and has a tactile texture thanks to the little hoops on its fibres. It is a blend of cotton, nylon, viscose, wool and acrylic. It feels soft but it is strong and hard-wearing.
The Liége Pouf has a height of 45.5cm and a diameter of 45cm. It is available in neutral colours. It can be used for extra seating when it is needed or in place of a coffee table with a tray on it to hold food and drink when entertaining friends and family.
