The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Black Lacquered Oak has a shell made of 100% reclaimed polypropylene 'PP'. It is made of reclaimed post-consumer plastic waste. A manufacturing process known as injection moulding makes it possible to produce it as a single piece without joints or fasteners. The backrest has a curved upper edge that extends forward to form slightly sloped armrests. The curves form a wide, deep seat. It completes the sequence of arches with a rounded outer edge. The shell rests on a frame made of lacquered oak. The designer deviated from the norm with two U-shaped frames for legs rather than the customary four in each corner. The frames have been attached such that they are outspread which enhances the chair's strength and stability.

The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Black Lacquered Oak has a width of 59cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 52cm. It is available in neutral colours with a black lacquered base.
