The Kisu Decorative Figure Cat has been created by Eero Aarnio for the brand Eero Aarnio Originals. It is classified in the category of Sustainable Choice products. This is because the black version is made of recycled material.

The Kisu Decorative Figure Cat is made of 100% polyethylene. The plastic used to create the black model is reclaimed from factory waste. Polyethylee is light, strong, hardwearing and weatherproof. The figurine has been made using a manufacturing process known as injection moulding which makes it possible to produce a single piece. This eliminates the need for joints and fasteners like nails and screws and gives the final result of a clean, sleek profile. The figurine has a base that has the shape of an inverted U which is the cat's body. It also makes it possible for the piece to stand stably on a surface. One end has a straight column-shaped attachment that represents a tail. The other end has an oval-shaped attachment with two triangle-shaped additions that mimic the look of a head and ears.

The Kisu Decorative Figure Cat has a width of 38cm, a height of 52cm and a depth of 19cm. It was inspired by Aaronio's early childhood where he wasn't allowed pets in the family apartment. While it is pleasing to the eye it is worth remembering that this a decorative piece, not a toy.
