Chap Stool / Side Table

The Chap Stool/Side Table has been created by Konstantin Grcic for the brand Vitra. Chap is a fun and highly practical range of home storage products that are both playful and adaptable. This product is a stool/side table hybrid in Grcic's collection, and it will combine storage space and seating for rooms all around the home.

The Chap Stool/Side Table is formed into a cut-off pyramid shape, with tapered legs which make the base footprint broader than the upper surface. The body of the stool/side table has been formed from 100% recycled plastic that has been reclaimed from industrial waste, and Grcic has created a clear composition with a large lower space underneath the seat. This space can be accessorised with the Chap Tray, adding extra space to store essentials within easy reach. But the product can also be used as a solo stool or added to living rooms to host electronics or house plants.

The Chap Stool/Side Table has a compact design, measuring 45.5cm high and 43cm wide. Multiple Chap Stools can be stacked on top of each other for ergonomic storage and various colours are included, ranging from brick red to sea blue and deep black.
