The Tripod HM9 Table Lamp has been created by Hvidt & Mølgaard for the brand &Tradition. Comprised of Danish industrial design duo the late Peter Hvidt and the late Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, Hvidt & Mølgaard were pioneers of modern Danish mid-century design. Their forward-thinking innovative approach and modern techniques led them to create timeless pieces that are still sought after today. The Tripod HM9 Table Lamp is one such item. In place of the conventional base, this table lamp stands on a ball-shape base supported by a web of curved steel tubes that are welded together. Rising out of the ball is a short stem that is also fashioned from stainless steel. At the end of it is a cone-shaped, sculptural shade with the detail of a brass support that holds the shade onto the stem. The lamp casts a warm, white light downwards. The overall look of the lamp respects the Scandinavian design tradition of sleek, minimalist silhouettes while being innovative and modern.

The Tripod HM9 Table Lamp has a height of 45cm, a width of 25cm and a depth of 32cm. It has a fabric cable of 200cm in length with an on and off switch. The lamp cannot be dimmed. It is available in a selection of colours. The appropriate lamp with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
