The Pavilion AV9 Bar Stool was designed by Anderssen & Voll for the &Tradition label.

Anderssen & Voll is one of the most productive Scandinavian design partnerships of all time. Based in Norway, the pair work regularly with Denmark's &Tradition label, testing the boundaries of Traditional forms and seeking to apply new technical ideas wherever possible.

That approach is easy to discern with the Pavilion AV9 Bar Stool. The format here is familiar, but the designers have employed high-quality black oak and walnut to create a sinuous, effortlessly beautiful look. Featuring an elegantly curved wooden seat and slender framework, this stool can grace cellar bars and kitchens alike. The curving seat stands 75cm off the ground, while the stool as a whole measures 95cm tall. This ensures that users are totally comfortable, while the stool will also look the part when not in use. The seat itself measures 50 x 52 cm - large enough to accommodate almost any sitter. The frame is certainly sturdy, being made from solid steel. As with all products in the Pavilion collection, the AV9 Bar Stool can be stacked and stored with ease, making it ideal for use in smaller spaces.
