Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Black

The Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Black has been created by Anderssen & Voll for the brand &Tradition. Named after its creators, the AV16 is part of the wider Pavilion collection, which took its inspiration from Copenhagen's elegant Langelinie Pavilion. This entry in the series applies a light, creative touch to desk design, resulting in a work and study space that's fun to use, beautiful and exceptionally functional.

The Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Black was designed in 2020 and informed by the needs of home workers. It has a rectangular tabletop with gently rounded corners, which has been engineered from black linoleum, and this surface rests on a graceful and extremely stable base made from bent steel tubes. The frame has been crafted to provide maximum leg space, while plastic gliders have been added to the base, protecting floors and allowing easy movement.

The Pavilion AV16 Desk Frame Black is relatively compact, measuring 130cm wide and 65cm deep. It has a height of 74cm, which should suit most desk chair designs, while the table as a whole weighs 23.3kg. Multiple Pavilion desks can be connected to create larger assemblages if desired, but this desk will work well on its own, whether that's in studies or bedrooms.
