Hochstapler Shelf H 70cm

The Hochstapler Shelf H 70cm has been created by Dirk Frömchen for Tojo. This unit is an award-winning piece. It won its design the 2012 Interior Innovation Award and was nominated for the 2013 German Design Award.

One of the most distinctive elements of the Hochstapler Shelf H 70cm is the milled sides of the MDF it is made from. The rest of the shelf is finished with a white coating. The shelf is a free-standing storage unit. This allows the unit to be expanded either vertically or horizontally with ease. Each shelf has cut-outs that allow it to be attached to basic or extension modules. Inserting the shelf into cut-outs ensures that they will not slip and can hold the weight of items as they are displayed on the shelf. When two shelves are put together, they form a complete module.

The Hochstapler Shelf H 70cm has a width of 304cm, a height of 70cm and a depth of 32cm. There are other modules from the same brand that can be used to turn the shelf into a complete, functional desk. There are also extensions that add doors to the unit.
