This stylish and practical Theo Tea Pot and Teapot Warmer was designed by Francis Cayouette for the Danish label Stelton.
Stelton was founded in 1960 and found early success through an association with the brand Danish Stainless. Their first venture was a gravy boat, which proved immensely popular both at home and abroad. In 1965, a new managing director Peter Holmblad decided that innovation was the only way forward. He brought in his father in law, the renowned designer Arne Jacobsen, whose Cylinda line launched in 1967 and kick-started the firm's illustrious rise.
Radiating the firm's signature clean lines, the Theo Tea Pot and Teapot Warmer are crafted from and attractive blackish-brown Scandinavian stoneware with a cast-iron finish. The pot features a lid and handle made of bamboo, that adds a touch of natural contrast. The warmer comprises a stand that keeps the tea warm through the insertion of a tea-light. This can be concealed in a bowl if required. Measuring a compact 7cm in height and with a width of 15cm, the Theo Tea Pot and Teapot Warmer is the ideal accessory for brewing tea and keeping it hot while looking elegant in the modern kitchen.
