The AJ Serving Tray was designed by the legendary designer Arne Jacobsen for furniture label Stelton.
One of the most iconic Danish architects and designers, Jacobsen is remembered for his huge contribution to the field of functional architecture and his beautiful yet practical furniture designs. A huge source of inspiration for Jacobsen was the bent plywood designs of the Eames brothers Charles and Ray. He cited another influence as being Italian design historian Ernesto Rogers, who stated that each and every element of a design, for anything from a spoon to a city, was equally important in creating an ergonomic space for humans to interact with.
The cool style of the AJ Serving Tray makes it an ideal piece for use in restaurants and bars as well as in the home. The tray is made of high-quality polished stainless steel, is 2.4cm tall and has a diameter of 33.5cm and weight of 1kg. Part of the renowned Cylinda line from Stelton, the serving tray has a timeless look and classic materials that stand up to the rigours of everyday use whilst being easy to keep clean. The practical side handles make it easy to carry the tray and avoid slips and spills.
