The Varsi 1000 Wall Mount was created by Seppo Koho for the Finnish label Secto Design.

Tuula Jusélius saw a gap in the market when customers buying her wood furniture wanted lighting to complement it. She collaborated with Seppo Koho, and Secto design was launched in 1995. Finnish-born Seppo Koho set up his own studio after studying industrial design. He won the Finnish Furniture Designer of the Year Award in 2015.

The Varsi 1000 Wall Mount is simple in its function and appearance but creative in its concept. This simple mount quickly and easily allows the label's pendant lamps to be used in rooms and areas where suspension from a ceiling is not possible. It is ideal for halls, entranceways or any living areas as well as being highly functional in offices and public spaces. In restaurants it allows lamps to be suspended over diners' tables from a wall fixture. The design is made from high-quality and durable powder-coated steel. The Varsi 1000 Wall Mount is easy to install and measures 41cm in height and 230cm in length with a canopy diameter of 20cm. It also has the added flexibility of an 8m-long cable.
