The Oda Medium Floor Lamp Frame Black has been created by Sebastian Herkner for the brand pulpo. Never one to follow the crowd, Herkner is known for unconventional designs. The trailblazing German designer always wows and surprises with his pieces. However, even as he creates futuristic work, he aspires to retain tradition. This he achieves by working by hand to guarantee excellent craftsmanship, rather than utilise automated mass production.

Herkner definitely blazed a new trail with the Oda Medium Floor Lamp Frame Black. Made of hand-blown glass available in various colours, the shade stands on a frame comprised of black tubular chrome-plated or powder-coated steel. The frame has an x-shaped support near the foot of the base to further stabilise the lamp. The design was inspired by beautiful photos that the designer saw of water towers. The lamp works in any room in the house, where it will cast a soft, warm illumination. It is available in various sizes. The medium one is 85cm in height and has a diameter of 45cm with a cable length of 400cm. The Oda Medium Floor Lamp Frame Black works with one E27 bulb. The light source is included in the delivery.
