The Lorenz Mirror Ø 53cm deviates from the more common shapes with an oval frame. It is made of ash wood. The glossy varnish on the wooden frame amplifies the effect of the mirror reflecting light and bouncing it around. It can still be seen over the varnish and it creates a play of light and shadow patterns on the walls and other surfaces in a space. The frame is fitted with fine-grind mirror glass. It is embedded which creates a sleek look and the illusion that the glass and frame are one rather than two separate pieces.
