Le Roi Lounge Chair

The Le Roi Lounge Chair has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand Norr 11. It is part of a collection that is a retake of rattan furniture from the French colonial period. Part of the reinterpretation is the incorporation of Scandinavian touches that lean towards minimalism and simple elegance.

The Le Roi Lounge Chair has a wide, high backrest that is slightly inclined. It defies convention with the armrests. Rather than the standard shape, they are high and also reclined outwards. The armrests and the backrest have a perimeter made of oak that is filled with rattan. The open weave on it gives it an airy, laid-back, lounge look. It has a wide seat that has the same design with the wooden framing and rattan insert. A loose cushion is available for purchase separately. The shell is supported by legs that are also made of solid oak.

The Le Roi Lounge Chair has a width of 84.5cm, a height of 72cm and a depth of 76cm. It has a seat height of 35cm. It is available with a natural or dark-stained oak frame. It will make a comfortable and stylish addition to any space.
