The Hippo Lounge Chair Frame Natural Oak has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand NORR 11. It is inspired by and named after the hippo. Its barrel-shaped torso is the area of focus for the designers.

The Hippo Lounge Chair Frame Natural Oak is a Sustainable Choice product. It is made of FSC-certified wood and finished with eco-friendly water-based lacquer. The chair has a frame made of solid oak. At the top, it has a round lumbar pillow headrest. Over the frame, the chair is padded with cut foam. It is attached to the upper part of the frame that is made up of two planks of wood. Below the backrest is a rounded, generously stuffed pillow. It has a plywood shell padded with cut foam. The chair uses upholstery from the Kvadrat line which is known for premium quality. The seat is set on rounded, stout legs at the front while the back is attached to the double plank of wood that supports the headrest.

The Hippo Lounge Chair Frame Natural Oak has a width of 70cm, a height of 71cm and a depth of 81cm. It has a seat height of 41cm. It is available in neutral and earthy colours.
