Product description

The Pind Armchair has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. It elegantly combines the simplicity of 19th-century Shaker furniture with contemporary design. Named "Pind" after the Danish word for "dowel," it reflects the chair's distinctive vertical backrest struts. Launched in 2023, it showcases the harmony between slender wooden dowels and refined curves, offering a modern interpretation of nostalgic charm.

Constructed predominantly from wooden rods, with the seat fashioned from ash veneer, the Pind Armchair exudes a crafted, minimalist appeal. The design is anchored by two rear legs that merge seamlessly into the backrest, capped by a horizontal beam. This structure supports the ergonomically curved backrest, ensuring comfort from every angle. The Pind Armchair is finished in either clear lacquer to accentuate the ash wood's natural grain or a dark stain for a more dramatic effect.

With a seat height of 46cm and dimensions of 55cm in width, 52cm in depth, and 81cm in height, the Pind Armchair is ideal for both domestic and commercial settings.
