The Form Dining Table 200x95cm was created by Simon Legald for the Normann label.
Established in Copenhagen in 1999 by Poul Madsen and Jan Andersen, Normann produces original and innovative products for the home. It challenges conventional thinking with extraordinary designs. Simon Legald is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He works on both small and large-scale products that are an elegant and understated blending of craftsmanship and industry.
The simple lines of the Form Dining Table 200x95cm create the perfect example of Simon Legald's pared-back approach to design. He has stripped the table back to its purest functional form. The cylindrical table legs are made from lacquered solid oak and connect to the table top using a sophisticated plug system. The surface of the table is covered in hard-wearing linoleum which along with the rounded edges adds a retro element to the design. With its generous dimensions, the Form Dining Table 200x95cm is perfect for family dining, while its smooth surface and contemporary shape work well in both domestic and office workspaces. Its height is 74.4cm and it complements other pieces in the Form collection of dining room furniture.
