Farooo Small Floor Lamp

The Farooo Small Floor Lamp has been created by Marcel Wanders for the brand Moooi. Working out of his self-named studio, Wanders and his team create pieces that combine superior craftsmanship, optimal functionality and outstanding aesthetics. They got that right with the Farooo Small Floor Lamp. The lamp is inspired by the structure of lighthouses and is named after the Italian word for lighthouse. The luminary feature of the design puts the focus on an intense beam of light that resembles the one that ships rely on to avoid foundering on rocks. Its shade is made of PVC viscose laminates. The stem that supports it resembles a chess piece and is made of fibreglass and wood with an inner steel support. This design makes the lamp durable while giving it a distinct look that is all its own. It is also very easy to use thanks to multiple cable entry points. The light can be dimmed via an inline slider dimmer with an on/off switch.

The Farooo Small Floor Lamp has a height of 150cm and a diameter of 70cm. Its base has a diameter of 39cm and its cable is 300cm long. The appropriate bulb with an E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
