The Wild Carpet 225x295cm has been created by Bertjan Pot for the brand Moooi Carpets. The design of this carpet was inspired by drawings done with felt tip pens. Seeing how good they looked, the designer was inspired to turn them into decorative home textiles. He decided to take the drawings and use them as carpet designs. He went for polyamide as the base.

Made of plastic polymers that are petroleum-based, it is one of the most common synthetic fabrics after polyester. One reason that polyamide carpets like the Wild Carpet 225x295cm are popular is that they are hardwearing and comfortable underfoot. Additionally, they take dye well with the result of vivid, colour-rich motifs as is evidenced by this carpet. It has a central rectangle-shaped pattern with smaller circles all around. It has a frame of what appears to be in-line weaving with different colours. It is an illusion that was created on paper using felt pens.

The Wild Carpet 225x295cm has a length of 295cm and a width of 225cm. It is available in multi-colour. It will add bright cheer and colour wherever it is placed. This is thanks to the varied rich colour tones that create an illusion of depth.
