The Matrix Otto Suspension Lamp has been created by Yaacov Kaufman for the brand Lumina. First introduced in 2000, Matrix is a collection of interior lamps that is built around cleverly engineered adaptable arms and industrial aesthetics. In this case, Kaufman has crafted a chandelier-style pendant that will provide versatile lighting for all spaces of the home.
The Matrix Otto Suspension Lamp has 8 arms which radiate from a central fixture. The arms are articulated, which means they can be manipulated to direct light as users desire. They have been made from a mix of steel and aluminium alloy, which forms a beautiful counterpoint to the bright light emanated by the collection of naked bulbs. The core of the lamp is formed from a round hub and cable, and a brushed nickel effect has been applied to the surface.
The Matrix Otto Suspension Lamp measures 82cm in diameter and has a suspension height of 200cm. The ceiling canopy is compact, measuring 13cm in diameter, and the lamp can be fitted to external dimmers if desired. Each arm of the lamp requires an E27 LED bulb, and the lamp can be combined with smaller Matrix models to create larger lighting arrangements.
