The AJ table lamp is a design by Arne Jacobsen for the Danish lamp manufacturer Louis Poulsen from the year 1957. Originally this design lamp was created for the SAS Royal hotel in Kopenhagen, Denmark.
The AJ table lamp especially catches the onlooker's attention with its uniquely asymmetrical and swiveling shade. The lamp's base with its characteristic opening contributes to the elegance and weightlessness of the design. The AJ table lamp is a true modern classic, that thanks to its timelessness will never go out of style. It is available in different colours, see "product versions". The cable is 240 cm long and the lamp's switch is located on the base.
