The Victoria Ghost Chair has been created by Philippe Starck for the brand Kartell. French architect and industrial designer Starck is a strong proponent of the use of eco-friendly materials. He is also passionate about mass production rather than production of pieces that are created for a few. This is what the Victoria Ghost Chair is all about- an eco-friendly, durable chair in a timeless style that will never be outdated. The geometric shape of the seat and the rounded backrest create a lovely contrast. Made of certified industrial cellulose and paper waste, the chair is made using a process known as single injection moulding. With this process, the backrest, seat and frame are moulded into shape as a single piece. This eliminates the need for fasteners for joints and makes the chair that much more durable.
The Victoria Ghost Chair has a width of 38cm, a height of 89cm and a depth of 52cm. It has a height of 46cm. It is weather resistant and suitable for outdoor use. It can be stacked to a maximum of seven chairs for convenient storage.
