This Small FL/Y Suspension Lamp from the design company Kartell was created by Italian legend Ferruccio Laviani and is a wonderful way to add some genuine designer quality to your interior.

Laviani is one of Europe's most successful postmodern furniture designers. His works usually revolve around the use of coloured plastic and inventive shapes to conjure up products that are reminiscent of classic 1960s styles. When Italian fashion labels need items for shoots, or filmmakers need classic sets, they usually turn to Laviani to create the look they are after, and you can do the same with the Small FL/Y Suspension Lamp.

This lamp is designed to suspend from the ceiling and is made out of strong PMMA plastic, giving it a solid, durable finish. The suspension cable extends for 232cm, meaning that the lamp can be suspended directly above work desks of coffee tables, even from high ceilings. The shade itself measures 28 x 38 cm, so it is small enough to use in living rooms and studies. If you need light to work or just to read your favourite magazines, this Kartell creation will do the job perfectly.
