Product description

The Woody Low Shelf by HAY features a shape based on the traditional ladder.

The Woody Low Shelf convinces with its reduced shape and the clear use of form. The shelf by HAY is made of oak wood, wooden rods, steel and screws, is around 206 cm wide, 85 cm high and equipped with shelves.

Source of inspiration for Woody was the traditional ladder, thus appearing without a proper front or back, which means it can be used as a freestanding piece of furniture in the room or be pushed up against the wall.

Originally the Woody Low Shelf was designed for the HAY House shop in Copenhagen. The customers were so taken with the shelf that the company decided to issue a slightly revised design for sale.
