The Rey Dining Table Laminate Ø128cm has been created by HAY for the brand HAY. The dining table is based on a 1971 design for a chair by the late legendary Swiss industrial designer Bruno Rey. The chair is a take on the original chair 3300 that became iconic with sales of over 1.5 million over five decades.

The Rey Dining Table Laminate Ø128cm is being reissued and retains most of the features of the original chair that inspired a complete collection. The table uses the same screw-less wood to metal joinery that was new back then. This form of joinery was later improved and made fast enough for industrial production. The table's round tabletop is made of laminate and rests on a frame made of beech wood. The edges of the tabletop just touch the upper edges of the legs which makes it look like it is floating above the frame. The slats that make up the legs have gliders underneath. Apart from the timeless and unique aesthetics, this detail makes it possible to stack the table.

The Rey Dining Table Laminate Ø128cm has a height of 74.5cm and a diameter of 128cm. It is available in a variety of colours including gull, slate blue, ivory white, golden, deep black, royal blue and deep blue.
