The J110 Armchair Beech has been created by Poul M. Volther for the brand HAY. Volther was one of the mid-20th century's leading Danish designers and was widely celebrated for his craft. Many of his wooden chairs are considered timeless classics, including this model that uses balanced wooden columns to create a shape with nostalgic familiarity and fresh originality. The J110 Armchair Beech is a reimagined version of the original Windsor Chair, with a rounded seat and tenoned joints that hug the backrest in visually engaging angles.

The solid beech frame is finished with water-based lacquer for durability and shine. The article has a height of 106cm and a width of 53cm. The seat is 60cm deep and 44 cm high. The extended backrest offers full surface support for the ultimate feeling of relaxation and comfort, although this piece also suits working environments as well as leisure. Simple, elegant and timeless, the J110 Armchair Beech will work in any part of the home, and it can be complemented with other pieces from the HAY range of chairs.
