Product description

The Balcony Outdoor Armchair has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. They are brothers but French industrial designers Ronan & Erwan couldn't be more different in their talents and abilities. When their unique visions are combined, the result is designs that are distinctive with unexpected, sometimes whimsical touches.

The steel Balcony Outdoor Armchair exemplifies their approach. It stands out with its sculpted, straight lines that contrast with the round cutouts on the seat and the backrest. Apart from aesthetics, the cutouts serve the function of draining away rainwater so it does not sit and cause rust. Their round shape is contrasted by the square-shaped seat and rectangular backrest as well as the straight lines of the legs. On either side of the seat are armrests. They are shaped into arcs using tubular steel. While the legs at the front are straight, those at the back are slightly outspread which makes it possible to stack them.

The Balcony Outdoor Armchair has a width of 51.5cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 51.5cm. It has a seat height of 46cm. It is available in iron red, dark forest, desert green, chalk beige and anthracite.
