Product description

The Timberline Floor Lamp has been created by Mads Caprani for the brand Gubi. It has an elegant design that is whimsical at the same time. Designed in the 1970s, it has held its own in terms of relevance over the decades. It gets its name Timberline from the designer's fascination with tree lines which are nature's limit on how tall a tree can grow.

The Timberline Floor Lamp has a sinuous shape thanks to its long, metallic stem that is curved to form the symbol of a question mark or a graceful swan. The stem is anchored into a cast iron base that adds another playful element; it has the shape of a horseshoe. The upper end of the stem holds an adjustable shade that is made of canvas. The hardwearing material has been styled into evenly sized pleats which gives it a distinctive look. Another unique feature is the groove that runs up to the middle of the stem that holds the lamp's cable.

The Timberline Floor Lamp has a width of 68cm, a height of 152cm and a depth of 55cm. Its cable is 250cm long and has a switch on it. The lamp works with an E27 socket.
