Product description

The Satellite Suspension Lamp was designed by Mathieu Matégot for the brand Gubi. Based in Denmark and New York, the brand has been making lights and furniture whose influences span nearly 100 years of all that is good about Danish design. French 20th century designer Mathieu Matégot's visionary designs are still popular and iconic, and Gubi is the ideal place to showcase them.

Made entirely of 'Rigitulle', a delicate but strong metal developed by Matégot in the 1950's, the Satellite Suspension Lamp is a true timeless classic. The shade, which is available in a number of colour options, is an elongated onion shape that hangs from a circular flat metal 'hat'. Strongly retro and space age in feel, it shines forth its light, creating a wonderful, coloured glow. The Satellite Suspension Lamp's dimensions are 31.5cm in height and 28.1cm in diameter. The lamp is supplied with a 50cm cable and needs an E27 bulb. Ideal as a centrepiece over a dining table, this delightful lamp casts a pretty, diffuse light. Try it in a very modern space, or use it to add a style highlight in a stronger decor scheme.
