Gravity Table Lamp L Frame Steel

The Gravity Table Lamp L Frame Steel has been created by Space Copenhagen for the brand Gubi. The name Gravity refers to the interplay between the lamp's lighter than air shade and its solid steel base. The result is a harmonious composition which uses subtle contrasts to wonderful effect.

The Gravity Table Lamp L Frame Steel has a cylindrical shade with a 41cm diameter. Available in either pure white or canvas models, the shade is as slender as possible and allows plenty of light to filter through, lighting tables and desks equally well. By contrast, the cylinder-shaped base is slimmer, with a diameter of just 13cm. However, thanks to the use of blackened steel, the base makes an impressive companion for the shade, anchoring the lamp beautifully.

The lamp measures 65cm in height and comes with a 200cm long fabric covered cable, while the steel model weighs 5.8kg, making it slightly more mobile than marble versions from the same brand. A switch on the base also includes a dimmer to calibrate brightness of the lamp. The appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
