The Cobra Table Lamp was designed by Greta Magnusson Grossman for the design label Gubi. The Cobra Lighting Series received its name thanks to its ovally shaped lamp shade, that is reminiscent of the head of a cobra. Already as early as 1950 Grossman received the Good Design Award by the MoMA in New York for this model.
The pipe-like, flexible lamp arm can be bent in every direction, while the lamp shade can be rotated 360 degrees.
The base made of die-cast iron - for the optimal stability of the lamp - is covered with powder-coated aluminium. The Cobra models are all available in the colours anthracite grey, deep black, and warm grey.
