The Swan Chair Leather was designed for the award-winning furniture producer Fritz Hansen by the late, great Arne Jacobsen. The internationally acclaimed designer is perhaps best remembered for designing the No 7 chair, which was used in the iconic photograph of the naked Christine Keeler. Both an architect and designer, Arne jacobsen is further celebrated for designing what is believed to be the world's first designer hotel, the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and was commissioned to design not only the building but all the furnishings, fittings and glassware as well. The distinguished designer went on to win the C.F Hansen Medal for his contribution to outstanding architecture.
