Post Star Dining Table

The Post Star Dining Table has been created by ferm LIVING for the brand ferm LIVING. This Sustainable Choice table has a design that was inspired by Brutalism. This is a style of architecture that first emerged in the UK in the 1950s. It is characterised by minimalist designs that allow the production material to be the main point of interest. The style that peaked and then started to fade away in the 1970s is making a comeback in form of furniture like the Post Star Dining Table.

Made of FSC™ Mix-certified oak veneer with MDF core, it has a round tabletop that has been finished with handmade marquetry. This is a woodworking technique that creates alternately coloured lines that start from the middle of the table going outwards and over the edge forming a star shape. The table can bear a full load of food and drinks laid out for friends and family with its thick, column-shaped legs that are also made of oak veneer.

The Post Star Dining Table has a height of 73cm and a diameter of 150cm. It comes in a dark brown colour.
