The Elica/Tonik Bistro Table is brought to you by designers Andrea Radice and Folco Orlandini for the furniture manufacturer Fast.
Both designers graduated from the Polytechnic Universit of Milan, with Radice opting for industrial design and Orlandini choosing architecture to study. Following their collaboration on several work projects, they formed a design partnership and have worked together since 2008. One of their guiding concepts in design is merging practicality, emotion and timeless looks. They combine three main elements: improvement, paternity and irony. Their design ethic is based on continual improvement in aesthetics, function, cost and ergonomics. Orlandini and Radice have won numerous design awards including the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award.
The Elica/Tonik Bistro Table showcases a chic minimalist design that works well in contemporary gardens, terraces and balconies. With four legs featuring angled-end detail and a convexly-rounded table top, the table has a sophisticated look that works well with any style of décor. The table top offers an 80cm diameter surface that you can work, read and eat at comfortably. Standing at 72cm high and weighing 9kg, the table feels sturdy yet can be moved easily around your outdoor space. The powder-coated aluminium construction is weather-resistant and easy to keep clean.
