This Nordic Kitchen Saucepan 1.5L is a characteristically attractive and practical piece of kitchenware that was designed by Henrik Holbæk and Claus Jensen for the Danish Eva Solo label.

The label is a world-renowned specialist in crafting kitchen and other household items, blending a flair for traditional forms and a knowledge of materials to create pans and trays that can handle high temperatures and are optimised for cooking, yet also look the part. It's a fine compromise, but Eva Solo are experts in balancing form and function - as you'd expect from Denmark's leading kitchenware designers.

The Nordic collection appeared in 2016 and has been an instant hit. Holbæk and Jensen have used cast iron for the main body, giving it excellent heat transfer capabilities and allowing food to be fried or stewed effectively. The Eva Solo Nordic Kitchen Saucepan 1,5L is also surprisingly light, making it easy to carry around the kitchen when required.

The cast iron cooking chamber is complemented by a well insulated wooden handle, and the pan measures 16cm across and has a generous capacity of 1.5l. It's an essential item for stylish chefs everywhere.
