Yard Garden Chair

The Yard Garden Chair was created by German designer Stefan Diez for the label emu and is a simple, elegant piece of garden furniture design.

Diez bases his work around experimenting with materials to find new ways to blend functionality and formal beauty, and the Yard Garden Chair is a great example. You can see how Diez has carefully thought through the use of woven fabric for the seat and back, alongside lightweight painted aluminium for the frame. The result is a chair that can be easily moved around and stored, provides plenty of comfort and looks the part as well.

Each one of these emu chairs is 81 cm tall, while the seat has dimensions of 57 x 51 cm. They are designed to be easily stacked away and used in a collection, so that whenever the sun shines you will have a beautiful set of garden chairs to seat guests and family members.
