Breuer Model 1096 Sunlounger Overlay Mattress

The Breuer Model 1096 Sunlounger Overlay Mattress has been created by Marcel Breuer for the brand Embru. The late Hungarian architect and industrial designer Breuer was a talented and tireless modernist. He is remembered for designs like the Wassily and Cesca chairs which have been singled out as some of the most important designs of the 20th Century. It was with the same flair and dedication that he designed the Breuer Model 1096 Sunlounger Overlay Mattress for the similarly named sunlounger he designed.

Made of foam upholstered in the premium range of outdoor fabric from the Kvadrat Patio line, it will make for hours of comfortable lounging in the sun. Made of hot-dip galvanised flat steel, the sunlounger has slats screwed to the base. They are made of polished, colourless anodised aluminium. The overlay mattress that is cut to fit precisely has tabs and snaps along its length that go over the slats to hold it in place. It is also cut to fit the contours of the sunlounger.

The Breuer Model 1096 Sunlounger Overlay Mattress has a length of 140cm, a width of 55cm and a height of 8cm. It is available in anthracite.
