The Altorfer Model 1141 Garden Armchair has been created by Huldreich Altorfer for the brand Embru. The late designer Huldreich got started with the company and rose up through the ranks before starting his own company later on. He later sold the company he started to Embru. Since then, the brand has been selling his pieces like the Altorfer Model 1141 Garden Armchair.This armchair has a frame made of steel tubes that has PVC cables draped tightly around it to form a backrest and seat. Over the backrest is a curved steel bar that can hold a head pillow to provide extra comfort if so desired. In between the well-sized seat are armrests that are also made of steel tubes with PVC cable draped over them.

The Altorfer Model 1141 Garden Armchair has a length of 54cm, a width of 64cm and a height of 89cm. It has a seat height of 46cm. It is available in dusky pink, traffic white, wine red, graphite black, traffic red, light green, traffic yellow, light blue, pine green, ash grey and an intriguing grey-blue. It has back legs that are slightly outspread which makes it possible to stack them for convenient storage.
