The German designer Markus Honka was born in 1965. After having finished his professional training as a furniture carpenter and clerk, he studied interior design.
In 1997 Honka founded the studio "honkahe interieur + furniture" in Nuremberg, Germany and since then has been working as an independent designer having tremendous success and winning numerous design awards.

Among his job as a designer Honka works as a lecturer in the faculty architecture at the university of applied science in Nuremberg.
