Carlo Tamborini was born 1958 in Milan.
After graduated at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan in 1993, he began to work freelance, designing packaging and display systems. He collaborated with various architecture studios and in 1997 he began work at the studio of Piero Lissoni in Milan where he is presently Design Manager. In 1998 he co-founded the Codice 31 group. From 1999 onwards, he has been designing lights and interior furnishings for Fontana Arte, Kartell, Pallucco, MOS by Cover, Glas Italia and Coro.
