Euvira Lounge Chair

The Euvira Lounge Chair was designed by Jader Almeida for the manufacturer ClassiCon. Equally concerned for the environment and for pushing the boundaries of design, this German firm prides itself on developing pieces full of artistic flair made with a small carbon footprint. Its products are on display in over 30 museums around the world. Based in Santa Catarina, Brazilian designer Jader Almeida is a young, emerging talent who has won numerous awards in his home country for his fresh yet timeless pieces, inspired by geometrical patterns and native materials.

Taking its cue from the easy chairs of the 1960s, the Euvira Lounge Chair invites the sitter to settle back and relax. Shaved edges and tapering lines give a dynamism to the solid oak frame, which is available in a choice of stains. Customers can opt for a seat of nylon cord fabric, with a light, airy, semi-transparent feeling or for the more traditional comfort of buttoned leather with soft polyurethane foam filling. The chair comes in two slightly different sizes: 77 x 70 x 68 cm, with a seat height of 45cm with leather upholstery or 72 x 70 x 68 cm with a seat height of 37 cm with nylon.
