.The Uomo Della Luce S Table lamp from Catellani & Smith features a silhouette-style figure of a man made from iron and is given a mottled wax finish. This figure supports a ball of aluminium wire which conceals the light source. At first sight, the design has a grandiose, mythic quality, but details such as the man's flared trousers introduce a witty element of kitsch. The piece is available in two sizes: 35cm in height with a diameter of 10cm or 90cm in height with a diameter of 30cm, with the larger size using multiple micro halogen bulbs as a light source. Bold and brash, the Uomo Della Luce S Table lamp makes a great addition to a range of funky, eclectic interiors.
