The Macchina Della Luce I LED Suspension Lamp was designed by Enzo Catellani for the brand Catellani & Smith.

The Macchina Della Luce I LED Suspension Lamp, the light machine, was developed from Catellini's Luci d'Oro or Golden Light Collection. The concept is based on the reflected golden light of the sun and the warm glow of fire. This ceiling light is composed of metal discs that are coated with gold leaf. Being applied by hand, the gold leaf renders each disc different and adds texture to the surface that reflects and diffuses light. Metal coated nickel rods support the structure. The Macchina Della Luce I LED Suspension Lamp will add character and sculptural interest to any living space. The non-dimmable light weighs 8kg and holds 3 LED bulbs of a maximum 14xG4. The Macchina Della Luce I LED Suspension Lamp is 145cm long and the canopy diameter is 21cm.
