22 Petites Lentilles LED Suspension Lamp

The 22 Petites Lentilles LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Enzo Catellani for the brand Catellani & Smith. The Italian brand was started after its founder Enzo found great success at an expo held in Germany, going on to create his brand and set up his workshop. Never one to follow convention, Enzo went into new frontiers with the very unique 22 Petites Lentilles LED Suspension Lamp.

Inspired by refined simplicity, it represents balance between light and matter. Like an orbit in space, it has a suspended oval ring made of brass that has small transparent lenses around its perimeter. The lenses, which number 22, have built-in LEDs. The lenses cast a warm, white light downwards while an additional light source behind the cover casts indirect light upwards. The ring is suspended from the ceiling with four subtle cables that help to give the appearance of the lamp floating in space. The lamp is dimmable, with the wireless independent dimming of the base and oval ring achieved using a remote control. The 22 Petites Lentilles LED Suspension Lamp has a width of 120 cm and a depth of 60 cm. The lamp has built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
